why we love fall most of all

“Fall is my absolute favorite season—I could live in it forever.”

October is kind of that middle peak in the fall season.  It’s the height of corn mazes, apple orchards, pumpkin everything, and of course there’s Halloween.  After October, it becomes more like the holiday season than fall, at least to me.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m pumped for Christmas (only 62 days left, by the way!), but fall has a special place in our hearts at the Antique Candle Co.® (previously Antique Candle Works) studio.

We’ve been reminiscing on our favorite things about the cozy season, and our favorite Antique Candle Co.® fall fragrances that carried us along the way.  There’s so much goodness that comes out of this season!

Here’s why we love fall most of all.

Family Fun

Carol and Emily mark off their fall checklist with all the fun family activities!  Both these lovely ladies love Apple Pickin’—and caramel apples!  Carol enjoys hayrides and “seeing the beautiful changing leaves,” while Emily always goes to the corn maze with her family.  Another fun fall activity they both have to do this season is the tradition of pumpkin carving!  There’s nothing quite like spending time doing fun fall things with family.

Apple Everything

Even though Julie and Darby both love Pumpkin Spice candles during the fall season, they can’t get enough of “all things apple!”  Literally all the best apple creations come from the fall season, and it is so so good!  Darby actually loves going to all the apple orchards to “stock up on apples, apple cider, and apple butter.”  Is anyone else’s mouth watering?

Cozy Season for a Reason

It makes sense that both Tori and Sarah love Fall Harvest—one of our coziest fall scents ever!  “The change to cool and crisp weather means” cozy sweaters, fuzzy socks, yummy fall treats (I’m talking pumpkin spice and s’mores, y'all), and so much more!  It’s the perfect season to light a cozy candle and always be warm and snuggly with a good book.  What could be better than that?  (This is my favorite thing about the season, too!)

All the Fall Colors

There’s no doubt that God had a special eye when He painted the fall season.  “When all the leaves change to gorgeous reds, oranges, and yellows,” you know there’s something special going on.  Macey and Kaitlin love Fall Harvest, Kelsey and Hunter love Autumn Leaves, and Hannah loves Pumpkin Spice, but they all agree that the best thing about fall is the colorful outdoors.  And with that comes all kinds of “cute outfit potential!”

Around the Fire

Jack and Alyssa can’t get enough of Fall Harvest, and Libby is an Apple Pickin’ girl, but all agree that “sitting around the fire with family and friends” is the thing to do this season.  There’s nothing better than getting cozy at a campfire with some hot apple cider, a fuzzy blanket, and good company.  This can make anyone’s heart so full.

Pumpkin Obsessed

You can’t have fall without pumpkins.  That’s the simple truth.  Jessica and Grant love all the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, and Pumpkin Spice candles to go with them!  Brittany’s favorite fall scent is her classic favorite, Cashmere, but pumpkins hold a special place in her heart because for her October birthday, her family would “forgo the traditional birthday cake for Pumpkin Pie!”  There’s no such thing as autumn without pumpkin!

There’s so much to be thankful for every season of the year, but there’s just something about fall that makes it a little extra special.  Which is why we love fall most of all.

Will you have the apple pickin candles anytime soon? Please let me know. It reminds me of my grandparents home when I was little.
