Jesus at the farmhouse

You know as well as I do that there’s no such thing as ‘too much farmhouse’ to the girls at Antique Candle Co.® (previously Antique Candle Works).  We can’t get enough of vintage decor, rustic signs, neutral and white colors, or basically anything that comes from an antique store!  While there is a whole world of styles that can be made a part of the ‘farmhouse look,’ there is one trait that we love more than all others, and that always resonates with the Antique Candle Co.® message.

You’ve all probably seen Him, maybe even in your own homes, so you know that Jesus is a frequent visitor of The Farmhouse.  His presence shows up in the form of signs with traditional prayers and favorite verses, pages of old hymns, and even pillows offering comforting words.

These faith-centered farmhouse pieces are not just decorations.  They allow you to express the love of Christ through something that, although stunning, brightens your home with more than just pretty words.

The heart of many of our blogger friends’ families is Jesus.  Through all the little personal touches they add to their individual farmhouse styles, the one thing most of them have in common is Him.  As a faith-based small business, Antique Candle Co.® loves seeing our candles paired with pieces that inspire His light.

Our sweet friend Katie from The Rustic Boxwood Blog shares amazing home projects and décor that are truly inspiring, and the little pieces of Jesus in her farmhouse highlight her creativity. 

One piece that is close to her family’s heart is an old Bible that belonged to her grandmother.  Seeing this unique heirloom fit beautifully in Katie’s home and bring it to life though Christ and a loved one is touching.  It was an honor to see one of our candles paired with such a beautiful and special Bible!

When I find Jesus in The Farmhouse, I find joy.  To look beyond the décor, you’ll see Christ at the center of the family.  It gives you encouragement, comfort, accountability, and so much more, all while making your house look and feel like a home.
